Hamza Mahoney is a dedicated counsellor pursuing a Master of Science in Loss & Bereavement (Clinical Practice) at RCSI and the Irish Hospice Foundation. He holds first-class honours and a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling with Addiction. He is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and an accredited member of the Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (ACI).

His extensive experience includes working in an addiction rehabilitation centre and managing transitional housing, where he has honed his skills in supporting individuals through recovery.

Hamza has particular experience in addressing gambling and gaming addictions and has also worked on a national HSE Gaming and Gambling programme, a 24-hour crisis self-harm and suicidal national helpline. His passion for inspiring positive change, excelling in community enrichment programmes, and fostering deep connections drives his strategy.

His work has been published in national journals and newspapers, contributing to the broader discourse on mental health, societal challenges, and addiction. Hamza continues to support and advocate for mental health, demonstrating his belief in the possibility of positive change and personal growth.

National face-to-face or online counselling and international online counselling are offered.
